The Heavy-Duty Concealed Mounting Kit is engineered for countertops and shelves from 8 to 32 inches, and is the preferred solution for all shower benches. Ideal for floating shelves, floating bathroom vanities, floating mantels or hearths, floating desks, and floating shower seats/benches.

Constructed from industrial ribbed aluminum suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Must mount directly to 2×4 wood studs inside the wall before sheetrock is installed.

Installation note: This kit requires cutting a 1-inch thick slot out of drywall—unlike standard systems that use a 1/2-inch slot. Mount above and below the horizontal piece to prevent twisting.

Sizing rule: The horizontal piece is measured tip to tip. Approximately 3 inches will be inside the wall. Example: For a 24-inch application, select the 24-inch length to leave 21 inches visible outside the wall.
